Tour of St. Agnese with Father Marco.....then on to lunch

We met Father Marco, a Dominican brother who is pastor at St. Agnese at Matteo Rosati's graduation dinner.  Charlotte gave him grief because a week before we'd gone to see the church and particularly the body of St. Agnese, when a priest standing at the front door told us to hurry because he was about to lock the door. That priest turned out to be Father Marco.  He told Charlotte to be at the church at 11:00 the next morning and he would give us a tour and history of St. Agnese and show us relics, and the cloister.

The art and description of it, the body of St. Agnese and relics were very interesting, however, I only took photos in the garden of the Cloister and in the back yard.

We took the orange bus up into the village to lunch.

One more photo of the HORSE while waiting for the bus.

Waiting for the restaurant to open....

Almost ready. When asked when the restaurant would open, this woman replied, "when I'm finished setting these tables".  We sat outside and enjoyed the great weather and people watching.
