San Biago and La Grotta
While Charlotte took a brief tour of the Temple of San Biago ( early 16th Century) I snapped a few shots while waiting for our lunch reservaion at La Grotta.
And now for lunch. We loved the tasting menu:
Artichoke and zucchini tart with crispy tuscan bacon
Tuscan croutons with a topping of duck liver and Vin Santo sauce
Pumpkin soup with steam cod fish
About here, we moved inside to finish our meal. The garden started out lovely, but the sun got hotter and hotter. It was our hottest day to date.
